So we are well rested after a much deserved sleep. We are in the process of packing our things so that we may head to Value Haiti. Our team will need prayer today as we will be facing some intense things. Thank you all for your support and guidance. I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Please protect our team today as we will be in more than less ideal situation. Thank you for your blessing this far. Please allow us to walk into this situation with our arms high and our hearts wide open. Thank you for allowing us to see Haiti through your eyes. In your name. Amen.

As soon as I return to the United States I plan to transform this blog to my missions blog. I will be adding my trip to Rancho Sordo Mudo from December of 2008. Can’t wait to show you the pictures from there!

T-15 hrs 20 mins…

So here we are, exactly 15 hours and 20 mins away from departure. The majority of my stuff is packed, and I’m waiting for the laundry to finish. Very soon I will be heading to the airport with two bags that weigh approximately 50 lbs a piece. I’m not really sure what to expect of the trip but I know it will be incredible. I stopped by the church office today and Pastor Daniel loaded me up with a bag FULL of supplies that we will need while we are in DR and Haiti. I plan to use a combination of this blog and my personal website icemedic.net as the main source of posting pictures and blogging. Stay tuned as I add my thoughts and pictures …
